A record amount of $76,554 in CEF grant funds supported these programs and projects throughout the district. In addition $13,000 was awarded by Amazon for STEM needs in our district bringing the total of $89,554 granted out by the Caledonia Education Foundation.

- RAD Drone Field— $500 – A grant was awarded to the Caledonia RAD team to purchase a field that will be used in competitions.
- Kettle Lake Elementary School Sensory Room Swing - $500 - This swing will assist those with sensory issues by providing a calming effect that in turn will help them sit and keep their bodies still in order to learn.
- Yamaha P-45 Keyboard for the Music Room - $500 - This grant purchased and upgraded digital keyboard that will improve music education in all Paris Ridge music classes.
- Kitchen Supplies - $313 - Various kitchen supplies such as dishes and bake wear will help DLMS students with disabilities learn to follow a recipe as well as teach math, reading and life skills.
- Duncan Lake Middle School Coffee Cart - $466 - Students with various disabilities will learn new skills while making coffee and selling it to staff.
- Creative Writing Team goes to State—$100 -- Gas money was awarded to the Duncan Lake Middle School Creative Writing Team to fund their way to the first ever State Competition, "Justwrite" in Ohio.
- Veteran's History Project— $500 –Grant money was used to help fund transportation costs for the High School AP United States History Class to visit the Yankee Springs Air Museum while meeting and interviewing war veterans.
- Caledonia High School Chess Club - $350 - Since there is no funding for after school clubs, the Chess club was awarded a grant to purchase 20 chess boards and 10 chess clocks for their start ups.
- Whitecaps Event - $500 - Funds were awarded to the Duncan Lake Middle School Links students to attend a Whitecap's baseball game where they practiced independence and communication skills by ordering food and navigating an unfamiliar environment.
- Busing for Peer to Peer Bowling Celebration - $300 - Transportation costs were provided for the Kraft Meadows Peer to Peer students to work on their social, independence, and communication goals while enjoying a bowling event.
Barbara Gall Grants for Language Arts
- Kettle Lake Book Room—$3990 – Updated and high interest books were needed to fill the book room that is used by teachers for reading groups, intervention small groups and student use for their reading at home.
- Kraft Meadows Intermediate School Library Collection Renovation - $3000 - New, relevant, age-appropriate books were needed to replace the discarded 3500 books that were not age appropriate or over 25 years old.
- ELA Classroom Library Supplement— $500 – Current, high-interest books were needed in Mr. Cornell's English classroom in order to keep students engaged in reading regularly through the, Our Choice Reading Program.
- Choice Reading Book Order - $500 - A new library of high-interest books was purchased for Ms. Schertzing's English Classroom.
- Coalition of Community Rooted in Reading - $325 - New and interesting books were added to Mrs. Yonker's classroom library as well as sets of books to be used for in-class book clubs.
Unrestricted Grants
- Duncan Lake Middle School Weight Room— $17,440 –A large amount of new weight room equipment will enable middle schools to better train and condition.
- Interactive Projector at Duncan Lake Middle School— $2140 –This new projector will enable teachers and students to digitally manipulate a computer screen that is projected onto a whiteboard allowing review of content to be more interactive while accomodating all learning styles.
- Caledonia Robotics VEX IQ Launch— $5000 --.Robotics Kits and Components were needed to launch a VEX IQ program for 4th -6t grade tat will align with the existing middle and high school programs.
- Lighting Console Upgrade for Fine Arts Center— $8500 -- Two lighting consoles and monitors were purchased to enhance the programs and productions at the High School Performing Arts Auditorium.
- Digital Media Equipment Update— $20,177 – Updated cameras and videography equipment was needed to for the high school digital media program to teach more 21st century skills that will be used in the workplace. Equipment will be used to live stream events such as concerts and athletic events.
- Microscopes with HDMI Capabilities -- $9628— Twelve additional (already purchased 6) new microscopes with HDMI hookups for tablets or wall mounted screens were purchased for the high school science department.
- Choir Uniforms - $825 - Funds were used to purchase uniform dresses for the Advanced Treble Chorus at Caledonia High School as well as several new tuxedo pieces for the Choralaire's Choir.
