Essential Funds: Supporting Caledonia Students and Families in Need
The Caledonia Education Foundation is proud to partner with Caledonia Community Schools to support children and families in our community through the Essentials Fund. School staff are often the first to notice when a student or family is facing a pressing need—whether it’s a teacher noticing torn shoes, a counselor hearing about a family struggle, or even a janitor spotting a missing winter coat.
While schools are not the long-term solution to these challenges, they are uniquely positioned to respond quickly in moments of crisis. Through the Essentials Fund, all CCS staff members can request funds to help families with unmet basic needs until they are connected with local resources and support.
