Application and Selection Procedure
Grant recipients will be selected by a committee of 3 women from the Caledonia Women’s Club. An application process will be used to select the award winner and will be overseen by the Caledonia Women’s Club. Interested Caledonia High School graduating female seniors will be required to fill out the application with all pertinent attachments and submit it to the Caledonia High School Student Services Office by April 1st. Applicants that best meet the criteria may be interviewed and an award winner will be chosen by a committee from the Caledonia Women’s Club. The Caledonia Women's Club Scholarship will be announced at the Caledonia High School Academic Awards Program, of which the recipient will be required to attend. Once notified of the winner, CEF will write and mail the check directly to the student’s college.
The Caledonia Women's Club Scholarship will be awarded yearly, assuming there are candidates who meet the criteria.
The recipient will attend the CHS Academic Awards Ceremony, where they will receive their scholarship and be available for pictures.
If the recipient withdraws from the institution the scholarship is awarded to, the scholarship will be prorated and returned to the Caledonia Women's Club Heritage Scholarship Endowment with CEF in a manner consistent with the policies of said institution.
