​The Women in Business Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 with a gift that will be used to further the college careers of qualified graduating Caledonia High School seniors. It was created by a family to honor their daughters and their many memorable years attending and graduating from Caledonia Schools. This fund is an effort to give back to the community that helped shape their daughters' lives and educational careers.  They hope to help other women in their pursuit of careers in the field of business.

Administrative Guidelines

The Women in Business Scholarship will honor a high school senior who meets the following criteria: 

• Caledonia High School female senior 
• Student planning to attend a two or four year college majoring in business
• Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above
• Completion of at least one business credit
• Affiliation with a non-profit, employer, or volunteer position, as shown by a letter of recommendation
• Exhibits the ability and aptitude to succeed in a business career while seeking to develop her skills in this area
• Financial need

Scholarship

The Scholarship is for $1000.00 per year for four years as long as the criteria are met.  The funds can be used on college tuition and/or books.  It is awarded at the annual senior awards evening in May.

Process

​The application is due March 31st with letters of recommendation and a copy of your transcript.  It will be reviewed by the Caledonia Education Foundation representatives in partnership with CHS staff and a CHS Business teacher.
